Spleissen

Einfacher Kiteleinen Spleiss in 3 Minuten – Simple kite line splice in 3 minutes

Zubehör

1. Spleissnadel oder stumpfe Nähnadel
2. Schneidbrett
3. Messer/Schere
4. Zange
5. Kerze/Wachs
6. Marker
7. Maßband

Spleissen

1. Bei ca 15 cm eine Markierung setzen
2. Ende der Kiteleine etwas wachsen und dann flach drücken
3. Die flache gewachste Leine durch die Spleissnadel führen
4. Die Nadel an der Markierung einmal durch die Kiteleine stechen und durchziehen
5. Die Grösse der Schlaufe definieren und markieren
6. Mit der Spleissnadel durch die Leine gegenüber and der 2. Markierung durchführen
7. Anschliessend die Leine zusammenschieben und die Spleissnadel längs der Kiteleine durchführen (ca so lange wie der Rest des Leinenendes z.b. 5-7 cm)
8. Mit der Zange die Spleissnadel durchziehen und den Spleiss ausziehen

Splicing – Simple kite line splice
What you need:

1. Splicing needle or blunt sewing needle
2. Cutting board
3. Knife/scissors
4. Pliers
5. Candle/wax
6. Marker
7. Measuring tape

Splicing

1. Make a mark at approx. 15 cm
2. Wax the end of the kite line a little and then flatten it
3. Feed the flattened waxed line through the splicing needle
4. Pierce the kite line once at the mark with the needle and pull it through
5. Define and mark the size of the loop
6. Pass the splicing needle through the line opposite at the second mark
7. Then push the line together and pass the splicing needle along the kite line (approx. as long as the rest of the line end, e.g. 5-7 cm)
8. Pull the splicing needle through with the pliers and pull out the splice
